Bring yourself, your favourite comfortable shoes (sneakers, deck shoes, sandals),
casual clothes (long khakis or denims and shorts, sundress for women), a bathing
suit, something casual-chic for dinner (an option not a requirement), a few layers
of light outerwear (flannels and fleece are ideal) and hiking boots. Also, bring
your toiletries, sunscreen, a camera and extra film. We have just about
everything else it takes - outerwear, adventure gear, fishing gear, riding boots,
etc - to make a vacation perfect.

| If
you are flying in aboard a commercial carrier, remember that most restrict personal
baggage to a maximum of 30 lbs (13.6 kg) per person, including carry on. Additional
baggage will be accepted only if space allows, so be sure to call the airline
ahead of time for advice, or check with the resorts' reservation office.
If, upon arrival to the plane, space does not permit excess baggage, then
it will be transported on stand-by status on the next available flight. While
we discourage guests from exceeding baggage allowances, resort staff will of course
track and retrieve stand-by luggage from Tofino if necessary. We provide
fluffy robes, slippers, hair dryers, in-room irons, aromatherapeutic amenities,
rain gear (hooded slickers and overalls), rain boots, umbrellas, gloves, hats,
survival suits, life jackets, state-of-the-art adventure equipment and fishing
gear, bear bells, and videos and books to lend. Check Outpost
Amenities or Quait
Bay Amenities for detailed lists.

We do not offer a regular laundry service,
but in a pinch (or a slide, or a spill), we'll take care of that too. |

If you happen to forget something or want a souvenir of your stay, we have
an impressive selection of distinctive outerwear, fleeces, hats, and golf and
long-sleeve shirts, as well as postcards, personal items, film, and one-of-a-kind
handmade treasures available for purchase from our gift shop.

By
design we have no in-room telephone or television, but you can always stay in
touch using our cellular phone (per minute charges apply), or the complimentary
satellite internet service (wireless, or on-site PC). Personal cellular phones
may or may not function in the area, so please inquire with your provider directly.
It is helpful for us to know in advance of any dietary restrictions, allergies,
or special medical conditions, so that Chefs and service staff can best serve.
As a rule, Chef May's modern natural
cuisine favours the concentrated of reduction sauces over cream-based, vegetable-based
broths over meat stock, organic ingredients over conventional, and a light, healthful
(and incredibly delicious) style of cooking. We apologize that while
the resorts and the longhouse can accommodate moderately physically challenged
guests, they do not lend themselved to wheelchairs. There are no elevators, reinforced
railings, or specially outfitted bathrooms, and our remote nature and rugged wilderness
make wheelchair access to land and activities, next to impossible.
