Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada  – July 10th, 2018 – Clayoquot Wilderness Resort has been designated #3 in the ‘Top 10 Canada Resort Hotels’ category in the 2018 Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards, honoring the top travel destinations and companies around the globe as rated by its readers. The Healing Grounds Spa was expanded with a new inspiring yoga room as well as an expansive cedar deck with two hot tubs and a cold plunge tub overlooking the estuary. Activity programming was enhanced with new offerings like trail running, meditation classes, wilderness survival workshops, and hands on coastal restoration projects. Renowned Executive Chef Michael Pataran also joined the team this year, bringing over 30 years of culinary experience from around the globe.

“We continue to elevate the guest experience as well as our environmental initiatives at Clayoquot” says Puglisi, “And we’re excited to keep sharing the magic of our incredible Canadian wilderness with new and returning guests alike.”
