So far, yet so close is the best way to describe our remote, refined, remarkable location on the wild west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.  The resort is accessible only by floatplane, helicopter or boat, but we make it easy by handling the details.

A scenic 45-minute floatplane flight (airfare included in all resort packages) from the beautiful port city of Vancouver (YVR) on the British Columbia mainland, carries resort guests over the gorgeous Gulf Islands and the spectacular Vancouver Island mountain range.

Guests arriving from Tofino enjoy a scenic 30-minute boat transfer through breathtaking Clayoquot Sound.

As you descend toward Canada’s western-most edge, and see the wide open Pacific unfurling below on its 7000 kilometre journey toward Japan - witness the majesty of Pacific Rim National Park, miles and miles of sandy beach, the charming seaside village of Tofino, and the brilliant technicolour of the Clayoquot Sound Biosphere.

Floatplanes and boats arrive to the resort dock for horsedrawn wagon transfer to the Outpost.   A private helipad is located on resort property, about two kilometres from the Outpost.
